Since the whole sort of niche blu ray market started up, there is no more overlooked genre than Action.

Horror seems to be the most popular, loads of releases of films so bad it's a chore to sit through.

Need proper versions of the Arnie, Stallone, Van Damme, Lundgren, Chuck Norris classics.

And Best of the Best. Why there isn't a Criterion or Arrow Film release of Best of the Best 1 and 2 is truly depressing.

Imagine a bells and whistles Commando with a Vernon Wells commentary... "I told the wardrobe dept I wanted to act the entire film in leather trousers and a woollen chain mail best. It made me laugh. If John was here, he'd laugh too..."

Sadly, I doubt any major Schwarzenegger, Stallone or Willis films would be sub let to third party distributors. At least not until the blu ray market shrinks down to almost non-existence.

Yes, the twilight if celluloid Seagal. It's when he reached Into the Sun, Contract to Kill and Submerged when it all went wrong. I've seen these (not idea why), the latter has Seagal and Vinnie Jones on a submarine. I say submarine, more cardboard set in a warehouse sprayed green to look like a submarine.

Is Glimmer Man the one with a knife in a credit card? Highly amusing.

There are three are really like that came out in 2009. Driven to Kill, The Keeper and A Dangerous Man.

Love all three of those.

All the ones i've seen directed by Keoni Waxman i've enjoyed.

I also love the way theres so much chat about an extensive and wide-ranging collection of Seagal blu rays that dont exist. I wonder if it can just be willed into existence?

We'll remember this in November when Out For Justice gets announced. We'll all be sat there happily watching a disgraced actor beating people with snooker balls in a bar before shooting off someones leg. I say that, but I wouldn't buy it!

Anyway. This has nothing to do with 88 Films.

Continue it in the Steven Seagal thread if you want to discuss further.
