'Mardi Gras Massacre' (1978) - Pre-order available from Zavvi - £24.99

Release date: June 27

"Police try to capture someone who is committing ritual murders of women during Mardi Gras in New Orleans"

Fackin' legendary!!!, shite film but fair play for putting it out there.seems like the only nasties that are still nasty are the Nazisploitations, rape films, a few cannibal films, oh and "Fight for your life" which if it was a Tarantino film wouldn't be a problem.
And in the current climate they ain't getting any closer to being released uncut.

That release slate from 88 is incredible. In my view 88>Arrow. Absolutely happy to have my wallet rinsed for this lot.

Does anyone know if the Shaw brothers films that are available on Apple TV are of the same quality as the ones put out by 88 Films and Arrow?

I've been trying to go by the release dates on some of them and it's a bit confusing. The Jackie ones all tend to have the year they were released on blu ray but the older Shaws which are now available from 88 and Arrow tend to have Celestial 2000 or Celestial 2010 in there somewhere.

Severin have posted “Our next batch of horror titles will be announced on MARDI GRAS” with a picture of the guy in the golden mask.

Mardi Gras is on 1st of March. I wonder what else they have up their sleeve!?

Romper Stomper is a much more agreeable £25 on Amazon now. It's a good film but I might wait for the inevitable standard edition to arrive and pick it for less.

I picked up Romper Stomper for £2 on DVD to have around in case of another lockdown, so I'm happy with the DVD

I have Species 1-3 on DVD and in no rush for an upgrade.

Probably pick up Mardi Gras Massacre in standard form if it becomes less exclusive.

Remember seeing Zone Troopers on a Drive In Delerium Blu Ray and it looks like I'll pick that up. A lot of people want the VHS Rental cover as the reverse cover art.

Human Lanterns and Seventh Curse have my attention but not fond of the prices.

Others I may get when in a sale provided I like the trailers.

Mardi Gras Massacre and Seventh Curse only from Zavvi? 35 quid for Romper Stomper? A 4K Ultra HD release of Drive, a film with ~6,000 votes (average 6.7) at the IMDb?

I don't like ordering from Zavvi, so that'll rule out a couple of those titles.
