Seen as I mentioned I had it for years I thought sod it I'll watch it ,
Dissapointedi is a under statement found the film slow dull boring and had absolutely nothing of interest to offer, got around half way through and was beginning to wonder when the film is actually going to start or at least get going, I wanted to turn it off but at same time see what actually happens because of hearing so much about it , i decided to just watch rest on fast forward any chance i can have 60\70; min off my life back apart from the torture scene to the women there was really nothing else in the film and that scene kinda reminded me off the ending of the film snuff , total waste of time in ever sense ,

I think it's fantastic.

It treads that fine line between art and exploitation and provides the audience with a real long, hard glimpse into the mind of the film-maker. A truly unique piece of work.

Quality film! Asia Extreme titles on blu ray, wow! Besides A BITTERSWEET LIFE, they released a brilliant Korean thriller called TELL ME SOMETHING which blew my mind when I first saw it, its a film that puts Se7en to shame! I also loved the two PUBLIC ENEMY films, SHIRI, NOWHERE TO HIDE, H, INTO THE MIRROR. Not to mention Nakata's DARK WATER and RING, two absolute classic horror films.

RING and DARK WATER would be must haves.

The Ring sequel and prequel were absolute shite.

Would also like to see;
CELLO
SHUTTER
SLAUGHTER NIGHT
WISHING STAIRS
THE ORDEAL
TATOO
ED GEIN

and the JESS FRANCO titles that were released as double bills.

I'm with you gag I'm afraid.
I had the Barrell 3 disc edition and I too gave up the ghost with it and watched on FF until the end.
I bought the Tartan disc for completion back in the day.
I don't own it now.

From the 'Asia Extreme' range I'd love to see upgrades of Takashi Miike's Gozu and Vistor Q, The Isle, and Save the Green Planet amongst others.

Yeah.Forgot about The Isle.

What was that one that had to do with a pair of red shoes?

Also like to see those J-Horror titles that were amongst Tartan's last releases...
