I have a whole shelf full of Asia extreme titles that I started collecting WAAAY back in the late nineties/noughties starting with Hideo Nakata's RINGU. Picked them up bit by bit while working a Blockbuster who seemed to stock everything they turned out.

Some titles are already out. Testsuo bodyhammer/iron man is on an excellent BR courtesy of THIRD WINDOW as is a lot of Shin'ya Tsukamoto titles including Bullet Ballet and Tokyo Fist. Shout Factory put out a pretty much definitive release of AUDITION.

The RINGU films could use a full restoration and release. Save the green planet is also fantastic. I may have to dig my collection out and sort through them.

Also while not released by Tartan I'm also surprised no one in the US/UK ever bothered to put out Ju-on The curse 1+2. Pretty much prequels to THE GRUDGE. Their not as good and frankly could be re-edited to form one great film but seem to have been abandoned to obscurity. Tartan did however release REINCARNATION by Takashi Shimizu and his very odd MAREBITO where he collaborated with TSUKAMOTO.

Its still crazy that its been about 15 years since I started picking these titles up.
