Is mystery and imagination worth a shot at this price? Was hoping on the professionals .

It is quite stagey but some of the tales are very good. I particularly enjoyed The Suicide Club.

I didn't rate Shadows much so never bothered with The Boy Merlin.

that's the one i plumped for. my sisters never stopped talking about it when i was little so interested to see how effective it was? i notice the one they talked about the most (The Fall of the House of Usher) isn't one of the surviving episodes which is a great shame.

also slightly peed off that the Quatermass blu is in the sale after just buying it last week

One hour left of the Thames 50 sale. Finishes at 2pm today.

I've ordered six sets including a couple of Christmas presents for people.

Thought i'd go for The Feathered Serpent starring Patrick Troughton. It gets excellent IMDB reviews and is classed alongside shows like Children of the Stones with it's more adult story line. At £2.34 it's hardly breaking the bank if it's poor.
