Is Talk Radio any good? Or was it a blind buy, Nos?

I enjoyed Fingersmith. Bought it in a previous sale. Well worth £2. Think i paid £3.

Has anyone seen / got The Lodger? I was wondering if that was a recommendation?

A complete blind buy. I have no idea what it's about or if it's any good, but the artwork and tagline was attractive enough for me to add it to my basket!

Definitely worth buying, especially with the soundtrack, which is something I enjoyed listening to before I'd seen the film.

The movie itself is a great piece of silent cinema and something you'll appreciate if you've seen most of Hitchcock's later works (and the 'classics' of silent cinema) because you can see what he was doing in the silent era which he expanded on decades later when characters could speak the dialogue.

Having the soundtrack as a CD means you can have the music separately and appreciate what an excellent score it is (strings, some woodwind and even vocalising I think) in its own right and even more powerful when accompanying the images of a master filmmaker.

Aye, The Lodger, cough. D! Cough!

I'm still riven with fever ... the Hitchcock film? That I recommends.
Night!

Just got 2 things from the sale. Excited to see Link!

Btw, the Mission: Impossible boxset has taken some inspiration from The Lodger artwork, I think.

Have you seen ...Runes before? Expect a mid 70's 'Teleplay'. I watched it again last week and I really enjoyed it, again!

My stuff may have come too but I haven't been down to see the concierge today so I'll check tomorrow. I'm looking forward to 5 series of Press Gang
