Network have 35% off 35 blu-ray titles. I'd think The Avengers: The Cybernauts, The Zoo Gang and Space 1999 are good value. https://networkonair.com/190-hd-35?u...eid=b092d1a5fa |

Looks like Network are gradually going to be concentrating more on their new steaming service, Network on Air. Maybe in the future we won't be seeing as many DVD/Blu-Ray releases from them. COVID seems to be the launch pad for this entertainment platform. More people on the dole, and plenty of people working from home. Network will probably have plenty of exclusive content that might not get released on the physical media platform to lure people onto the new service. Intresting development for this company. But could be another nail in the coffin for physical media as the years go by. https://watch.networkonair.com/c/nights-in |

It's probably just another string to their bow. After all why should people subscribe to this when so much of their product airs on Talking Pictures for free anyway. Arrow stream but still release plenty of physical products. |

Speculation my arse. You'll see a shift over to these sorts of services more and more. There's also plenty of material that's still in ITV's vaults that will be used to lure people onto these services. DVD sales are on the slide, and Blu-Ray's days aren't far off for the chop. There's certainly an "Air" of change coming, even though Netflix and other streaming services have been promoting the new media for a little while now.

Well that's what this streaming platform will provide. Plenty of series and exclusive content that will probably not be on physical media. You know only too well what these streaming services will provide. Question is, will you be saying that when Network start delivering the exclusive content on Network on Air, rather than DVD and Blu-Ray. Time to buy and eat that Blu-Ray player Dem. Yum! Yum! |
