I remember very little until something triggers it. If someone had said name some TV series with Tom Bell in, the only one I would have come up with would be Prime Suspect. Perhaps I only remember the series was praised was because at that time any performance by Tom Bell was praised - a critics darling. For me the programme was typical 70s gangstery stuff with TB doing typical stuff in a typical suit and knocking on various typical council estate doors looking for something... I don't know what? Can't remember any specific set-pieces or the outcome. It was probably something my Dad was watching that I only had half my attention on whilst reading a Dr Who Target novel

Ordered Joe 90 from the sale.
It can't be as grim as UFO with a nine year old as the lead?

Haha! Ed Bishop - A nine year old.

I'm tempted by the complete series of Department S. I loved watching that on dvd.

Then bought Jason King as it was so good but sadly that series wasn't a patch on Dept S.

I notice The Devil Ship Pirates is down to £7.80. I was sure it was closer to a tenner the other day. Can anyone vouch for the film?

It’s excellent. Good adventure film with a crew of pirates terrorising a small village.

Those where they bundled three films together?

I think they disappeared a while ago.
