It's the likes of the tv stuff that we'll never see again.

All those obscure wonderful little series like The Feathered Serpent and Sky.

Will things like Children of the Stones never be available again?

I've been buying from Network for over ten years and they will be greatly missed.

The only plus for me if you can call it that is that i've bought the majority of things i wanted over the years right up until last week in fact.

I'm currently watching at the rate of one per week the two disc set of Frankie Howerd at ITV. Things like that will be gone for good and that's really sad.

All those old British films that nobody has ever heard of too, with their slim cases and lovely artworks. I've blind bought so many of those and have had so much enjoyment out of them.

As i say, really sad.

There was stuff there that I I saw and always said wait for a sale and never expected anything like this to happen.

I baulked at buying The League of Gentlemen on Blu in the last sale as it almost a tenner. Now if i want it i'll be paying Amazon prices.

I feel for the people who worked there.

Network were 25 years old this year and sadly lost their main man who passed away last year at a very young age who had been there from the beginning. I wonder if it's anything to do with those circumstances?

Could it possibly be an 'estate' thing. Whatever that may be.

If it's purely to do with the business and poor physical media sales then i fear for everyone else. Could Screenbound be next?

Exactly the same. I kept thinking oh I'll wait, it'll be cheaper next sale.

This is very sad news.
Like many on here, I have quite a number of Network releases in my collection. Only recently, I picked up their excellent Blu Ray of The Owl Service and dvd of Tales Of Unease.
I was really hoping for more anthology series from yesteryear ( The Mind Beyond, Menace etc ) but I guess we can forget about that now.
No doubt the Blu Ray boxset of The Sweeney will never happen either. Such a shame.

There's still nothing official on this that I can find is there? Could there possibly be another explanation?
