Cheers, Dem!

Some interesting titles there, especially Cat Girl and Catacombs.

Do you recommend Baby Love? I see that it's one you own.

I forgot about The Nightcomers, Crimson.

Brando, Beacham and bondage. You definitely need that one.

It's Michael Winner's prequel to ghost story The Turn of the Screw.

The Sean Connery film Ransom is pretty good as well. As is Noose for a Lady. Well worth £2.

I was thinking about picking up The Pathfinders in Space, Walcott, Codename Kyril, Wreckers at Dead Eye, King of the Castle and The Wild Hunt as well as one or two films Crimson suggested.

Anyone seen any of those listed above?

I highly recommend this for £2.

It's a cracking six part sc-fi thriller masquerading as kids tv. It's written by Don Houghton (Doctor Who - The Mind of Evil) and directed by Robert Fuest (The Dr Phibes films / And Soon the Darkness) and was made with the Royal Navy's co-operation, so there's loads of Naval hardware on show.

The Nightcomers is on my radar, Dem.

It sounds right up my street that one.

And the Blu-ray is even cheaper than the DVD.

King Of The Castle just did not live up to my memory of it sadly. Therefore I can only say that if seeing a young Jamie Foreman will make your life complete .... .

I'd like to chip in here with a nod for Into The Labyrinth which is also in this. Whilst episodic it is an odd wee beast imo.

I got rid of Into the Labyrinth without watching it all. I saw the first episode along with one for King of the Castle and a couple of others on a promo disc that came free with Children of the Stones (although don't quote me on that).

From it's opening episode Labyrinth looked fantastic but when i began watching it properly i didn't enjoy it, probably because it was never set in the labyrinth. I skipped most of series three.

I'll take your word on King of the Castle, D. It looks very oddball to say the least and was low priority anyway.

Pamela Salem and Ron Moody were what I watched ITL for. The kids are just so ... RADA ... which added to it for me personally . The real problem with King was the lead ... who had later mostly played snivellers in Minder etc. So he wasn't the most sympathetic characters ....

Next!!
