The Network DVD and Blu-ray Release Thread

I'm going to order this as well, it's a fun Agatha Christie story and I've not seen this version

Arrived in this mornings post. Network are so fast at delivery when there isn't a sale.

Just thought i'd show the order time of 4 minutes past midnight yesterday the 17th and here's the disc with me today on the 18th.

Anyone thinking of picking up Network's The Night Has Eyes should beware - I spotted this on DVDBeaver...

"Nathaniel Thompson tells us in our Facebook Group: "FYI, as with Network's DVD, this is the censored UK theatrical release with most of the nightmarish final scene removed. The full version is around on various public domain labels. At least this is the best looking version by far!"

I knew it was cut all those years ago when i bought the Network dvd. It's an excellent slice of British Gothic.

Although the dvd looks great it's the only Network film from The British Film collection that i'm going to upgrade to blu.

I know several others on here (JHarker for one) love it too.

Yes, I wouldn't discourage people from picking it up. It's worth having (especially at Network prices!) until a more complete version surfaces.

The Death Line looks okay, Hands and Twins look lovely imho.
