I've read on this thread that SAE are customs-friendly, but does anyone know what value they routinely mark on the shipping forms? Is there a maximum value per order before they start marking a higher value on the customs forms?

They used to be customs friendly, but last one I bought from them they marked the correct value on it, so there was a customs charge to pay.

Thanks for that Stephen. I wonder if anyone else subscribed to this thread has had similar experiences?

Yeah, the last SAE order I placed I was hit with customs. I will not be ordering from them again.

Thanks for your help lads. Now that they seem to have changed their internal customs policy I won't be ordering from them.

Did any of you ask them not to?

DON'T BOTHER ORDERING!
Despite asking them in the checkout message box, they stated full value.

Was slapped with a £16 customs charge.

I've bought regularly from them since Fright Night was released on Blu Ray.

Oh well, another customer bites the dust.....
