I know. Holdouts like Warner are the worst though - they seldom licence anything anywhere. In the US they've licenced just two titles to other companies for release on Blu-ray (BADLANDS to Criterion and HEAVEN AND EARTH to TT) and in both instances it was the filmmakers who pushed them to give them up. Here in the UK the BFI has had two, REVOLUTION and GASLIGHT - they weren't allowed to issue the DEVILS on BD, as most of you know. |

Hopefully given how well other carpenter titles sold, they might print a few more of vampires. I think that's another sony title so we can probably forget about seeing a UK release at any point! Just keeping my fingers crossed my code red order hasn't 'disappeared' into the posties beer fund. No sign of it yet. |

It's an anomaly, that one - it was made by Largo, which was acquired by Intermedia which, in turn, was bought by Time Warner - it's available on Blu-ray in France from WHE and on DVD (and possibly BD?) in Germany via them too - I can only guess that the licencing deal Sony/Columbia had with Largo for VAMPIRES may have been for a set amount of years for the US. It'll almost certainly be a 5K release for TT. |

Oh I know and I curse them since the day they started .....The path of the righteous label is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil labels. Blessed is the label who, in the name of cultism and niche such as Twilight, shepherds the weak such as Warner through the valley of the darkness, for they are truly their brother's keeper and the finder of lost titles on hd. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to withold and hoarde My titles. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you."
