Although, I won something on eBay on Wednesday night and it wasn’t due to arrive until Monday or Tuesday (Royal Mail 2nd Class postage) and it arrived yesterday, hit and miss at the minute.
And, like Justin says, we’re not even into the Christmas Chaos yet!

My stuff arrived today, one posted last Monday and one from Friday, did your CD come?

Can anyone tell me if 101’s Cherry Falls is cut? I seem to remember reading that it was, but according to dvdcompare it’s uncut. Or at least it’s the uncut R rated theatrical cut. *shrugs*

Both 101 and scream factory releases are R-Rated. The additional footage is considered lost.

sad that for a film made well into the dvd age that no one had the foresight to save the mpaa mandated cuts for an unrated version.

101 have a Xmas/Boxing Day sale on. Some bargains there. Free shipping if you spend £15.

Nightmares delayed until 07/05.....

Stephen@Cult Labs 17th April 2018 09:23 PM

Did anyone else pick up Amazon Women On The Moon? I forgot what a great film it is. The Invisible Man segment starring Ed Begley Jr, is genius.

The Invisible Man segment is brilliant and the only bit of the film I remember from seeing it on its original video release.

nosferatu42 17th April 2018 11:04 PM

Isn't that the one with the Loch Ness monster as Jack the Ripper?
Or did i dream it?

Demoncrat 17th April 2018 11:10 PM

No. It's there .... a patchy film but still fun.

Demoncrat 17th April 2018 11:30 PM

I'm off now nos but I will say that I have watched it recently due to disbelief in a KFM sequel :pound:

101 is starting a new line, looks like the HMV Premium line with the slip case, spine numbers and a booklet, the first two releases are The Grifters and Existenz :)

nosferatu42 19th April 2018 06:06 PM

Grifters is a great film.

I'm looking forward to getting both of them!

nosferatu42 19th April 2018 06:09 PM

I do like Existenz too, they look nice those discs.

Demdike@Cult Labs 19th April 2018 06:11 PM

What a pity they are opting for Existenz, Cronenberg's worst film other than Cosmopolis.

It's packed with extras though so i might actually get it as i don't own the film.

nosferatu42 19th April 2018 06:23 PM

I wasn't very impressed by 'M Butterfly' at the time, although it would have been nice to get it released.

I've had 'Fast Company' for a while now but still haven't got around to watching it.

And i haven't seen 'Maps to the stars' either.

To be honest i'm not as much of a fan of his newer films although i did quite enjoy 'A dangerous method'.

I really liked Maps to the Stars.

Justin101 19th April 2018 06:32 PM

I wish it was Dead Ringers personally, but I'll happily take Existenz.
Dead Ringers came out last on ITV DVD so perhaps Network has the rights to it now?

By the way, you can order both of the new discs from the 101 Web store for £25 and free delivery, they take payment right away though so I'm going to wait until a little closer to the time, or see how much money I have left over before next payday.

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 19th April 2018 06:46 PM

NIGHTMARES is a great little anthology from the eighties,a fave from the days of tape.

Picked up NIGHTMARES today in HMV.
Impessive package for such a small film, here's hoping it's a sign of things to come!

Couldn't resist the temptation-no sign or notification of shipping from 101 direct....

Funnily enough, I picked it up in HMV today as well.

Haha, Yes it was. I even saw someone pick up a copy while I was standing there. Bloody hell! [emoji23]

The Reaper Man@Cult Labs 7th May 2018 07:47 PM

****!

Sorry mate-I was in a hurry.I saw the copy in your hand and thought of mugging you if it was the only one!

I had just finished work, jumped into town, grabbed that and Irma Vep and bolted!
(Was going to grab the new Kurt Russell Arrow but forgot!)
Shit-would've been nice to catch up!

Mate, that’s even worse! Was Irma Vep in the world cinema section? Because I’m sure you picked that up, as I was there too [emoji23]

And Dark Blue was the other one I had in my hand.

Nostalgic 7th May 2018 07:59 PM

Picked up Nightmares today as well (in hmv high wycombe, not glasgow lol!), along with killer klowns from arrow. 2 stories into Nightmares & it's amazing, akin to Creepshow 2, if you like anthology horrors it's excellent. Looking forward to the extras!
