ok I have not seen a thread here for a label I have just discovered MediumRare which has recently put out on blu ray the darkman trilogy and the shadow both cult films both of which im buying next week

Never heard of them, but a quick search for Medium Rare Entertainment, and they have my attention so far.

A little bit of research suggests Darkman & The Shadow are the same (audio, Video & Extras wise) as the Shout! Factory releases.

I have the following MediumRare releases and I would say that they are all of good quality:

Charade
Dark Skies - the complete series
House of 1000 Dolls
The Littlest Hobo - season one
The Littlest Hobo - season two
The Sentinel
Vampire Ecstasy

They have also released several Jess Franco films. It looks as though they have some interesting titles in the works as well.

I cant find it on the website but i looked it up on DVDCompare and DVDProfiler. It is also on Amazon.

Ah, yes, i see it there sitting in the amazon store but oddly enough they do not seem to sell through their website, would also like to to see Raimi's Darkman on its own without being bundled with the lusterless sequels but still cool to hear of a new cult company :tongue1:
