I've gotta admit I never noticed anything wrong with 88's disc when I watched it, but it does look shite so I think I'll wait for a price drop on Severin's from All Your Music

I assume the Australian disc is just as bad (also cut), I sold it without watching it when 88 announced theirs?

The old Media Blasters dvd had terrible sound. Like it came from inside an old tin can.
But at least it didn't look green.

I'll be buying Severin's on my next order from Diabolik. When they get some more copies of CRY OF A PROSTITUTE in.

And who bought Severin's BURIAL GROUND? Is that drastically better than 88's as well?

Yep, better colors (though not a huge difference, as in Beyond the darkness and Zombie Holocaust), and also uses a better encoding job, with less ghosting/smearing

"The transfer appears to be sourced from the same film element as the 88 Films release, but it's been given a more proficient encoding that results in detail and film grain that are more defined; it's also darker and richer in appearance."

Like the richer colours of Severin's BURIAL GROUND, but 88's is nowhere near the disaster of BEYOND THE DARKNESS.

Default Severin Films

88's blu is certainly better than the SS one I've had for years
This is another Severin blu I'm waiting on a price drop for, although why I need 3 copies of this pile of death smelling shite is anyone's guess

It was cheap, and the only option at the time, it only just looked better than the 23rd Century DVD I paid 50p for year at a car boot sale

I stuck with my 23rd Century dvd of 2019 as it's a pretty good print and i couldn't see 88's dvd being any better. Plus the film is fairly average at best.
