I was up early in the morning to snag a copy on Black Friday but it was still available on the Monday.

I haven't seen Time After Time nor Murder By Decree (although i have just ordered it thanks to your recommendation). Hands of the Ripper and A Study in Terror are both very good.

One of my favourites is Edge of Sanity which blurs the lines between the Ripper and Jekyll and Hyde.

Severin's THE DEVILS RAIN is a must-buy for any horror fan!
CRACKING film.

Borgnine's 'Devil-head' must be seen to be believed!

However, this is the only (minor) downside to a film that manages to be creepy and atmospheric,I haven't seen this since it was released on DVD and it was a real treat to see it in HD.

Does anyone know if the BBC screened this late one night back in the late seventies or early eighties?

I saw the film twice at least on ITV, but I don't recall a BBC screening.RACE WITH THE DEVIL was commonly screened on BBC2 & uncut unlike the dvd release from Twentieth Century Fox.
