Severin have given a cryptic clue to their 'mystery' release

People are suggesting that this title is actually 'Beyond Darkness' [aka La Casa 5, House 5, Ghosthouse 6 and Evil Dead 5]

**EDIT - This has now been confirmed https://www.rockshockpop.com/forums/...Blu-ray-Review

It's definitely Beyond Darkness they showed it today. The special 'unpromotable' slipcover has Evil Dead 5 as the title.

If anyone likes Gwendoline i can report after watching it last night that the Severin UK blu looks great. Far better than the old Nucleus dvd (I checked)

There are tons of extras too and it comes in a nice slip case and six lobby card reproductions.

Well worth it if you are a fan of the film. Just a warning though. It's limited to 2000 copies and has been out since 2019, so i'd be quick.

I haven't seen Gwendoline, but I was intrigued by the trailer a couple of years ago and your purchase led me to buy it yesterday!

Hope you enjoy it, Nos.

Think of it as a kind of sister film to Flash Gordon where the fetish elements really take over.

That's the vibe I got from the trailer. It looks like a kitsch action-adventure film, though one with plenty of nudity and S&M!
