A lot of great films there, plus a few I've yet to see too.

I have quite a few of these releases myself and highlights include: Dead of Night, Don't Look Now, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Peeping Tom, Quatermass and the Pit, The Third Man, and of course The Wicker Man.

Queen of Spades is an often overlooked gem too. A shame they didn't release that one in HD.

No The Singer Not The Song?

C'est la vie....

Quatermass & The Pit fae 67, unless it's QII youve been sent, or the TV programme???

Ahem.

Have a few of them....nice to see The Servant in there, an underrated film imho.

Definitely check out The Ladykillers if you get the chance, BE. I'm sure you'll love it - excellent comedy.

It's Roy Ward Baker Quatermass film, Demoncrat from 67. Great, great movie! One of Hammer's best imo.

Kind Hearts And Coronets (1949) and The Ladykillers (1955) are two very fine classic comedies. Lots of witty lines, great actors, hilarious twists and turns - both films show exactly what modern-day comedies are lacking.

As for Peeping Tom (1960)... I've only seen it once, but I guess I quite liked it back in the day...

I really don't know. I only know that I LOVED watching this movie. Cinematography, score, and, of course, mainly Carl Boehm (or Karlheinz Böhm, to his friends) - 'impressive' is a word that sounds convincing. But it does not even come close to doing justice to this masterpiece.

Great PT review, Prince!

I'm yet to see Kind Hearts but really looking forward to getting around to watching it now :woot:

That's a brilliant list. A while ago I compiled my own:

The Ladykillers is always somewhere at the top, wonderful film. Scott Of The Antarctic, The Dam Busters, Queen of Spades or Dead of Night, for sure. And anything that starred Richard Todd or Leslie Banks, I find watchable. Cottage To Let, Went the Day Well.
