Well a HD scan of THE FIEND exists-I have the Vinegar Syndrome disc.
Does PH license titles from VS?

They've obviously licensed SPOOKIES to 101 Films?

VS are a label so not the rights owner. They'll only hold the US license for distribution in that territory.

101 and Indicator are UK companies so will go directly to the rights holder to get a license for the UK.

It might not be a Hartford-Davis release. It could be another Hammer set, 1979 Dracula or The Brute, all set to come from Indicator. Or something that's a complete surprise...

If it is a Hartford Davis set it's one i'll have to buy. The Black Torment is a proper favourite of mine.

Release date: June 21

"Hammer Volume Six: Night Shadows revives four consummate Hammer classics from the early sixties, exemplifying some of Hammer Films' best work in the horror and thriller genres. Edgar Allan Poe looms large in The Shadow of the Cat, a macabre ‘old dark house’ tale of feline revenge, starring André Morell (Cash on Demand) and Barbara Shelley (The Camp on Blood Island); Peter Cushing (The Gorgon, Corruption) and Oliver Reed (The Scarlet Blade) star in Captain Clegg, which sees Hammer fuse horror and adventure in an eighteenth-century-set tale of smugglers and marsh phantoms; Herbert Lom (Mysterious Island) stars as The Phantom of the Opera in Hammer’s acclaimed production of Gaston Leroux’s Gothic classic, whilst Freddie Francis (Torture Garden) directs Nightmare, a spooky psychological thriller in the Les Diaboliques vein, which benefits from full-blooded central performances by Moira Redmond (Jigsaw) and Jennie Linden (A Severed Head).

Some complaints out there that this is a disappointing Hammer release because of the low profile titles. But I'd say this is really positive as they are the Universal owned titles previously released by Final Cut, often with dodgy aspect ratios and limited extras which means we can look forward to having the following upgraded:
Brides of Dracula
Curse of the Werewolf
Kiss of the Vampire
Evil of Frankenstein
