Believe it or not, those aren't the full specs!

One additional thing has already been mentioned, the option of watching either the UK or export cut of Satan's Slave, but there are at least four more extras not on the current list, including something that was only cleared for inclusion yesterday.

Scum | DVD Compare

"Hands down, one of the discs of the year; every self respecting film buff should have this. Not only do we have top notch picture and sound but we have practically every extra produced for the film off prior releases ... plus a huge amount of new material.

This is limited to only 8,000 copies and is a much anticipated release so grab one whilst you can! The 80-page book is worth the price by itself!"

Bellman And True | DVD Compare

"A long forgotten British thriller gets the deluxe Powerhouse Films treatment in very probably one of the less publicised, but still essential discs of the year. It's snuck out quietly without the fanfare of the likes of The Last Movie (1971) or the forthcoming Scum (1979) which is a shame because it deserves a bigger stage. Extras are top notch and very choice and the transfer is as good as can be with great image and audio.

Essential!"

Coming in August:

Quote:
On 19 August, INDICATOR presents a six-disc limited edition Blu-ray box set dedicated to the unique collaborative relationship between one of cinema’s greatest visual stylists and one of Hollywood’s most iconic stars – MARLENE DIETRICH & JOSEF VON STERNBERG AT PARAMOUNT, 1930-1935.

This deluxe collection showcases the six remarkable and influential American features that these two émigré artists made for Paramount during the first years of the talking picture. Released on Blu-ray for the very first time in the UK, the six films are: the sensuous MOROCCO (1930), Dietrich’s triumphant US debut, co-starring the great Gary Cooper; the subversive espionage thriller DISHONORED (1931); the delirious SHANGHAI EXPRESS (1932); the extraordinary BLONDE VENUS (1932), co-starring Cary Grant; historical epic THE SCARLET EMPRESS (1934), in which Dietrich gives one of her greatest performances as Russia’s Catherine the Great, and; the deviant THE DEVIL IS A WOMAN (1935).

Also available on 19 August is our delayed release of the Michael Palin comedy THE MISSIONARY. Originally announced for publication in June, we have had to push the release date back due to the unprecedented amount of restoration work required. This long-overdue Blu-ray world premiere will not only look the best it ever has but will also present the film in its original widescreen aspect ratio for the very first time. We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to work so closely with cinematographer Peter Hannan and director Richard Loncraine on reviving this comedy classic from HandMade Films.

Mastered from the finest available materials, both of these collectable limited editions contain an extensive selection of new and archival extra features and English subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. MARLENE DIETRICH & JOSEF VON STERNBERG AT PARAMOUNT, 1930-1935 is published in a numbered rigid-board slipcase with a perfect-bound 120-page book, while THE MISSIONARY is published in a full-height Scanavo case with a limited edition exclusive 40-page booklet.

August’s releases are available to pre-order in a discounted time-limited bundle. If you wish to take advantage of the offer, just add both titles to your cart and enter the code 'BUNDLE' at the checkout. Offer runs until next month’s new-release announcement. If you have previously pre-ordered THE MISSIONARY, feel free to add any £15.99 title in its place, and use the same code: 'BUNDLE'.

That's a nice Dietrich box set. I'm sure fans will love it.

I'm not a fan of those films at all however. She seems to overact somewhat probably due to being schooled in silents the ten years prior.

She improved in later films like Destry Rides Again, Rancho Notorious and Touch of Evil.

Powerhouse should look into a Jean Harlow box set. That would be nice.
