I'm not a big fan of modern horror, to be honest. I'm more of a Hammer/Amicus, pre-1970s horror. And some of 80s horror, too, of course. More of a sci-fi guy, really!

The new Fangoria would be, obviously, full of stuff on new horror movies that I don't exactly plan to watch.

What I miss is the excitement of going to the newsagens and the surprise of finding the magazines and reading them cover-to-cover, twice! or more, because there were no other sources of information.

Over here, downtown Lisbon, all the newsagents carrying foreign magazines - film or otherwise -- have now closed. You can usually find Empire, which is always a pleasure to read, but little else. You can find 150+ different magazines on design, though. Thank you hipsters!

There were other magazines that I really enjoyed, some more professionally produced than others: Starburst, Little Shoppe, Scarlet Street, Samhain, etc. But of all those it was Starlog that I eagerly looked for and I miss the most.

Screenbound are licensing them out to the various companies. If you look on the back covers they'll all have a Screenbound logo on them somewhere.

Quite shrewd from a business sense with the Rollin films if it's the case seeing as Screenbound have already released them themselves on Blu via the Blackhouse imprint so there will be a lot of people who already own the films on Blu already. If they don't sell well (Which i'm sure they will) the hit will be to the licensee rather than Screenbound.

I wonder if Indicator will do some extra work on the prints to sweeten the deal? We already know they'll really crush the extras as they always do.

This from the disc of 88's Killer's Moon....Screenbound are nowhere to be mentioned,on the disc, packaging or booklet.....

2022 TIGON FILM DISTRIBUTORS LTD ALL RIGHTS RESERVED DISTRIBUTED BY HOLLYWOOD CLASSICS INTERNATIONAL LTD ON BEHALF OF TIGON FILM DISTRIBUTORS LTD AND MADE AVAILABLE IN THE UK EXCLUSIVELY BY 88 FILMS LTD

As I say,no mention of Screenbound unless they are Tigon or Hollywood Classics which I doubt....

Looks as if those titles are out of license at old Screenbound.....

That's interesting because the Killer's Moon blu-ray from Screenbound says it's the property of Euro London Films.

I thought it was always part of Redemption's catalogue.

It'll be interesting to see what the Walker stuff says.

The Devil's Men which was released a few months ago is definitely licensed from Screenbound.

Neither Killer's Moon or the Rollins are in the Euro London Catalogue. It's pssibly not the complete catalogue though...
