These are American releases Dem, I almost considered going multi-region for these but then decided not to :lol:

And still no sign of Fright Night 2!

Anyone else's copy of LAIR OF THE WHITE WORM turn up without a slipcase?:confused:

Yes, mine turned up on Friday and had no slipcase along with Parents which was fine as had a slipcase. After looking on the internet it seems that many copies have been supplied without a slipcase. I have messaged Vestron on Facebook about the problem and whether they can supply a slipcase but still waiting for a reply.

Please let me know how you get on mate.

The collection will look shit with one title with no slipcase.

It seems CHUD 2, ROTLD 3 and Wishmaster are all getting UK releases from Lionsgate. All three were submitted to the BBFC today.

Vestron's customer service sucks as i have had no reply after a week. Will look to see if there is another way to contact them.

There's no point in me contacting CD WOW as their customer services are even worse....

THE GATE arrived complete with slipcase last week.

So that means only LAIR doesn't have one:rolleyes:

I never got a response from Vestron and the response from Wow was 'We regret to inform you that we do not guarantee slip covers, so if that is essential and absolutely necessary please look elsewhere'.

I got Lair last week from Diabolik and it came with a slipcover. If you're unsure drop Jessie a line asking for sure.

Just an update on the slipcover front. I found out after a second message the Vestron Collectors Facebook is a fan run page hence not able to help and advised contacting Lionsgate direct. Since then i have sold my copy on Ebay and last weekend picked up a cheap copy from Facebook complete with slipcover so happy now.

RotLD 3 is a good little flick! I remember picking up a rental box VHS years ago from Adrian's Video in Wickford, Essex. I haven't seen Wishmaster or CHUD 2.

ROTLD 3 is one of my favourite zombie films, enjoyed it much better than the first ROTLD, just ha s certain 90's quality to it I like.

Does anybody know what's happening with these with regards to a UK release? For example, he BBFC passed Blood Diner uncut back in February, but we haven't heard anything, have we?

I've sent a msg to Lionsgate via FB, as apparently they will be the UK distributors.

Just holding off from importing - although I'm tempted - WowHD has Blood Diner and Chopping Mall for less than £18.

I think it's pretty solid. The last 20 mins or so are batshit insane and are (kind of ;)) worth the wait. I wouldn't personally pay Vestron prices for this one but hopefully we'll see a Blu on UK shores in the near future.

I think remember the above being quiet a gory little flick. Isn't it the one where a guy is crucified upside down and gutted?

I wouldn't hold my breath.... the BBFC passed both ILsa, Harem Keeper and Tigress 18 months ago and still nary a whiff of either. I do like the Vestron's though, probably more for their nostalgic connection than the actual films themselves but they are damn expensive though and if I hadn't already bought in to buying them, I would advise to wait for the UK releases.

Yay! Finally looks like Blood Diner et al are finally coming from Lionsgate UK on Aug 28th!

I'm pretty commited to the Vestron label at this point. I think going forward i'm going to be more cautious with overseas labels if these titles are all getting uk releases.

I hope that Chopping Mall is one of the ones coming out, that and ROLTD3, the others are less of a priority for me :)

The Lair of the White Worm is definitely my most wanted for a UK Lionsgate release.

I'm holding off buying any of these, hoping for UK releases :nod:

I'll be picking up all except C.H.U.D. 2, because it's shite.

C.H.U.D. is great, the sequel is basically in name only and i can concur, to use your phrase 'it's shite'.

awful film based on a rejected script for rotld part 2

chud 2 is terrible. Weirdly I've watched it several times and in spite of its awfulness it does make me laugh.

never seen CHUD 2, but precisely because everyone says its so awful i'll be getting it - its the way i'm wired unfirtunately :pop2:
