It's a bit catch 22. If people aren't buying these deluxe versions then why should Warner bother releasing into the UK market.

If they were Code Red releases everyone would be paying $30 each and not quibbling.

I can't recall. It's not that good. I didn't include it in the top 10 sci-fi films of the 00's.

It made ~50 in that huge sci fi poll we did a few years back.

I'd drop it down at least 25 places now.

The thing is they tend to roll-out simultaneous releases and the UK gets missed. In 2013 they released Price's House of Wax in the US, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain yet there was no UK release. It's not an isolated case either and tends to be the norm unfortunately. It's great to see them finally deciding to give the UK fans a slew of their titles, albeit via an exclusive partnership (at present).

CR is a boutique label releasing rare oddities that most other labels wouldn't even dream of touching let alone restoring and slapping on a disc. Warner releases mainly mainstream fare and have a massive amount of resources and capital behind them.

I've bought every release so far.
The overall packages are great.

There's an article in Empire this month featuring 'the best of Warner' titles ...... A Nightmare On Elm Street and Get Carter are mentioned.....wonder if there's any connection....

Do you have a photo available? I am interested in the spine numbers to work out a rough order in which divide them.

It seems that Diner is in the Pure Points offer in store at HMV this week, £7.49 for card holders.
