It's crazy that titles like Jeremiah Johnson are in a 2 for £15 promo already, it was only released 2 weeks ago. Not that I'm complaining. I'm sure the people who bought it for £15 or in the 2 for £25 promo are mighty annoyed though.

It was only a week or so ago that I bought Excalibur and The Mission in the 2 for £25 offer, and I haven't watched The Mission yet. I would return it for a refund/exchange, but it isn't a shrinkwrap any more.

It is annoying knowing I could've waited and picked it up for 60% of the price.

Just took the shrinkwrap off my copy of Excalibur & didnt notice they left the security lock on the dvd case so I can't bloody open it without snapping the box! Not going near hmv for a week now! Anybody know a way to get them off without snapping the case? Its just the little plastic bit in the middle of the box where it opens.

Edit: Just found a youtube video & did it myself with a butterknife

Apparently, August 14 will see the release of the three classic gangster films: Little Caesar, The Public Enemy and White Heat.

I was in HMV today and was told the current deal of 2 for £15 will finish on Tuesday with the price going back up to 2 for £25. I decided to take the opportunity to buy the ones I didn't have (numbers 23-29), buying a chart CD (Kings of Leon's Walls) to make an even number.

Stephen thinks the offer ends this weekend, so it may be prudent to go through the checkout process today in case I was misinformed. Better to be safe than sorry and paying £40 more for the same items.
