Interesting. Black Rain is third only to Gladiator and Blade Runner as far as i'm concerned in the Ridley Scott directorial efforts.

in my ranking of Ridley Scott directorial efforts Black Rain doesn't even get ahead of the Hovis advert

Thank you! They are currently 2 for £15 so wanted to grab 4, even though i dont have the money, want to grab them while on offer!

Plus Gettysburg & lost Horizon! Seriously, I can live on soup until the 28th!

Casablanca is probably the best release from this collection, taken from a 4K scan and comes with a decent book(let).

Like you, I’ve filled my boots at this price, I had £10 on my pure card which helped. I only need four more now, the two Hitchcock’s, Dark Passage and The Time Machine.

The Big Sleep is one of the greatest classic film noirs. I haven't seen Dark Passage for a long time (and intend to buy the release from this collection) but remember it being a solid film, but not the best of the Bogart-Bacall films, even though it possibly features Bacall's best performance.

If you like film noir, you'll probably want to add these to your collection.
