I might be totally wrong here but i think those are both Universal. As far as i'm aware the Premium Collection doesn't include Universal releases.

Do Powerhouse have a deal with Universal?

Edit - Roller Coaster was a Universal film. Was it 101 who put that out recently in a collectible edition?

They've both been submitted by Warner so they are most likely HMV Premium.

How odd things have become. Back in the early days Warner and Universal were the best of enemies and now they release each other's films.

i think they were always Warner because Warner owns the RKO library. i think at some point Warner were using Universal to distribute some titles in the UK but i think that deal has lapsed now. these two are Warner Archive releases in the US.

i think both Universal and Sony are using multiple labels to distribute in the UK.

Powerhouse do have a deal with Universal but according to Michael Brooke its quite limited at the moment but they are hoping to expand it.

if only Warner would use boutique labels... there library is vast

You saying a sticker and bubble gum card in flimsy packaging isn't boutique enough?

Both titles were on that list I wrote a few pages ago of the Warner Archive Collection titles, so Rob's observation that many of the Premium Collection were coming from that series of releases was very prescient. If we are going to get more classic RKO, Universal, and Warner films like these two, this collection could go from strength to strength.

No. If you want have a look, on my browser, the list I made is on page 48 (this is page 52) if that would make it easier for you to locate.
