Ours has a huge film and TV section, so I expect they'll have it, they had all those cheap Arrow blus in there.

i'll put this here for the moment because it is a Universal film in the public domain.

Cohen Film have confirmed that The Old Dark House (1932) will get an October release.

I'll post it in the correct thread once i know which company is releasing it.

Given the Universal Monsters Collection is currently £13.99 on Zavvi and has been available at similar prices for a while now i would expect these legacy sets to come down even more in coming months.

i suspect we'll see it from someone like Kino first in US (or possibly Criterion). agree it would be a good fit for Eureka MoC over here. given the abundance of British talent in the movie i wouldn't rule out BFI either

The Day the Earth Caught Fire was with Network along with Old Dark House. The dvds both went out of print at the same time and DteCF appeared from BFI not long after. BFI have been involved in a number of major restorations and James Whale's Old Dark House seems perfect for them.

The old dvd with Kim Newman commentary is no longer listed on Network's site.

Can you confirm if they have definitely lost the rights to it or might they be the ones to release the blu-ray?
