I think it was the Cinematographer who was involved!

Unhappy

got the normal Blu-Ray and it looks great its just a shame it as the English credits and and the two of the special features are a bit dull because they were from the original nouveaux release the interview with Argento is good the restoration process documentary i did not understand it

It's about an hour long that restoration doc isn't it.

Good to know the picture quality looks great.

I know that the artwork is atrocious, but this is a very cheap way of having the Synapse remaster (minus the special features).

RE that restoration feature on the British bluray, as far as I can remember it's just scenes played back with no sound in the various stages of restoration, ie the scan, the restored scan then the the colour corrected scan etc... I'm not sure that anyone would watch it for an hour

There are plenty of docs available on youtube about actual film restoration, I know that Criterion have produced a few, they can be very interesting.

Is it English friendly? Doesn't say either way. So many Italian dvds aren't so i wouldn't just buy this without knowing for sure.

According to Blu-ray.com it has the English and Italian soundtracks and English subs.

I'd personally never watch Suspiria in Italian, nor any other Argento to be honest...

No, me neither. I watched Cat O'Nine Tails the other day in English. As you say, definitely go the English route when watching Dario.
