I watched the first 3 episodes of Day of the Triffids (my wife and I will finish it off on Thursday). I think there's a bit too much noise reduction but it's still by far, the best that I have seen it look. Pleased with the purchase. btw I was actually surprised by how much had been shot on film rather than just video. For example, all the indoor scenes at the hospital in the first episode.

A bit of moaning around the internet at the moment complaining that the video sections have been screwed up. There doesn't appear to be any agreement on the cause (deinterlacing and framerate have been mentioned) but a few saying the video sections are jerky. Also a few complaints about DNR.

I think I'll wait till this settles down in case there is a reissue.

On my set-up, the video sections of Day of the Triffids don't look jerky at all.
