'Friday the 13th' (1980) 4K UHD pre-order available from Amazon US - $25:99

Release date: September 13

"Includes both cuts of the film

The terrifying first FRIDAY THE 13TH that launched the iconic horror movie franchise comes to 4K UHD! The thrills start when the new owner, and several young counselors, gather to reopen Camp Crystal Lake. Years ago, a young boy named Jason Voorhees drowned, and a series of vicious murders occurred thereafter. Despite locals’ warnings that the place has a “death curse,” the new crew continues to relaunch the camp. One by one, they find out how unlucky Friday the 13th can be as they are stalked by a violent killer. For those who dare for an extended scare, both the “Unrated” and theatrical cuts are included."

I’m not opening that Pandora’s box lol… the scream factory box set has the 4k remasters and I don’t think they’ll look all that different.

I think it’s only the first 4 films anyway!

'Back to the Beach' (1987) Limited-Edition Blu-ray pre-order available from Amazon US - $17:99

Release date: August 9

"For the first time on Blu-ray, BACK TO THE BEACH joins Paramount Presents, remastered from a new scan of original film elements. Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, teen idols of a wave of Beach movies, returned to the big screen in this hip, hilarious 80s update of their surf-and-sand adventures. The Jamaican Ska may have replaced The Twist in the intervening years, but Frankie and Annette still know how to bring the party — as well as teach their own children a thing or two in the process. Along for the fun in the warm California sun are a host of familiar faces–Connie Stevens, Dick Dale, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dona Adams, Bob Denver, Jerry Mathers, Barbara Billingsley, Edd “Kookie” Byrnes, and Pee-Wee Herman"
