Also are all of the different Vipco releases of the same films identical in terms of content and quality?

As Zane said, Stagefright is uncut and features a decent transfer. The later 'Beyond Terror' release is just a repack of this edition (in fact all the films mentioned here have been re-packaged by Beyond Terror, whoever they are)

Werewolf of Washington is uncut but the transfer is from VHS.

Grave of the Vampire is one of the worst looking DVD's I've ever seen and is cut.

Zombie Holocaust wasn't released by Vipco; It was originally put out by Stonevision, then re-released on their 'Dead of Night' collection which was a copy of Vipco's Screatime range. It was later re-issued on Cornerstone Media's 'Beyond Terror' label. I did have the Stonevision disc and it's uncut, the transfer is non-anamorphic and looks better than the R1 edition IMO.

Zombie Creeping Flesh has a decent non-anamorphic widescreen print and is uncut.

Mausoleum is another which was not a Vipco release. It was originally put out by 'Dark Vision', then on the 'Dead of Night' label and, like all of the above, was later gobbled up by 'Beyond Terror'. I haven't seen that disc so can't comment on it.

Pete, is The Dungeon as bad as some reviewers suggest?
