All i was doing was expressing My personal opinion about Vipco,
and opinions are like asshole's, everyone has one right????
I didn't slag off anyone's personal taste (nor would i) each to there own.
I also didn't suggest there shouldn't be a Vipco thread, i said that i couldn't believe there was one.
Anyway, again, hope ive not pissed you guys off,because that wasn't my intention. I shall now leave this thread, never to return again

That makes two of us. I was in no way having a go at you bud. I was just pointing out that Vipco have been a company that has championed horror films for many a year (Just like Arrow and Shameless do now). fair enough some of their titles haven't been all that they could be, but you would have to agree that their hearts were in the right place. I mean how can you not like a company that gave the Uk the first release of the uncut Zombie Flesh Eaters? All the best.

Really?

the quality of their products don't really stand up to scrutiny.

Any body who was serious about collecting the films didn't bother with Vipco's hatchet jobs they collected the original pre cert vhs.

I'm talking about the company, not the product. If you read my previous post you will see I did say that some of their product was questionable. Where did I say anything about collecting the dvds?

ahem. in no way am i going to start a war over vipco...their product at times was beyond shoddy IMO. all i was saying that people can collect what they like. i myself want a complete set of Farscape....insert Spaced style gag here...."inspired" by this thread i saw that ive only got 3 Screamtime dvds anyhow.

all of which have been superceded by newer releases. and all by Arrow funnily enough.

You can only judge a company by its product.

I never did say you collected the dvds, i was just making a general point about collecting the films
