It's played more tongue in cheek than outright horror but at it's heart is a classic old dark house film. It's based on the play Seven Keys to Baldpate.

I would say the tone is more Theater of Blood than anything with it's main selling point that it teams up Price, Cushing and Lee for the one and only time where they are on screen together.

Just preordered for the upgrade, but it's a pity it doesn't include the two Freddie Francis & Allan Bryce commentaries from the DVD...
