Default Brain Damage Films

Times are tight so getting your horror fix can burn too big a hole in the pocket.

FEAR NOT!

Brain Damage is here, charging the princely some of £2.99 each for the six titles in this ongoing Indie Horror series.

There's a Fan Page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Brain-...3496127?ref=ts

and here's the label introduction. I'll post info on the individual titles over the next week but if you can't wait, visit the Fan Page above for all the news and trailer links. Join up, invite your friends, lend a withered, diseased hand...

"September 2009 sees the launch of Brain Damage Films, a brand new DVD label that's guaranteed to satisfy the bloody cravings of gorehounds and fright fans by bringing a host of new indie horror movies to DVD at a price that won't give you nightmares – although the films themselves certainly will!

The first six shockers – DEATH OF A GHOST HUNTER, SILENT BLOODNIGHT, SERUM, PREY FOR THE BEAST, SECRETS OF THE CLOWN and TORTURE ME NO MORE – hit the shelves on 21st September at just £2.99 each and stack up as a crazed carnival of fun-filled frighteners featuring ghostly goings on, vicious serial killers, mad scientists, reanimated corpses, flesh eating beasts, creepy killer clowns and twisted, sado-masochistic freaks. All in all, Brain Damage Films provide a welcome reminder that scary movies deliver much more when you don't take them too seriously."

Outstanding.

I pre-ordered all 6 of these at HMV a week ago for my Rental DVD store, and I can't wait to get them in stock.

The amount of horror that gets released in the States, we could do with a bigger share over here, and what outstanding sleeves they are too, not to mention the jaw-dropping price point.

Cheers for the heads-up on these Sam - for that price you can't go wrong.

I've just pre-ordered the first six from Amazon (incidentally who are selling them at £2.98 each! ). They also have the release date down as 14 September. This could be an error on their part though.

Brain Damage Films have been going for years in the US and have released quite a few films in UK over the past few years as well. I'm not sure why they're saying they're a new DVD company.

That's more just the wording - they're a new label to the UK as it were but yes they have been going in the US for a good few years so no mis-selling intended!

It's also worth pointing out that we're a pretty specialist bunch on here and we know about international releases and foreign distributors.

For the average punter on the high street, it'll be a totally new thing, but, like Almar said, there's no dishonesty going on...
