Well, unless it's changed since I last checked on it (and if it has, they've been very quiet about it), they should. When last I checked you didn't get charged custom duty unless your goods amounted to £135, nor VAT unless they amounted to £40. Even if they were mislabelled, the most they used to be able to do was stick a warning sticker on the package about correctly labelling gifts.

I seem to remember CR packages are usually marked $10 or less.

Let´s take as an example, if someone sends you an Ipad from the States, the cost would have to be declared, even if the package is marked as a gift.

Here's some more info on the new CR releases.

If He Hollers, Let Him Go! (1968)

The novel this is based on was written by Chester Himes who 2 years later wrote Cotton Comes to Harlem.
It was adapted for the screen/directed by Charles Martin who would later went on to direct The One Man Jury (1978).

The film is notorious for the only semi-nude scene ever put on film by the beautiful Dana Wynter and a fully nude shot of Barbara McNair.

Changes (1969)

Produced/Directed by Hall Bartlett who would unleash Jonathan Livingston Seagull (1973) onto the world a couple years later.
I guess this would be more of a typical Scorpion Releasing title but I often like this sort of films.

Devil's Three (1979)

Featured in Machete Maidens Unleashed! (2010) and directed by prolific Fillipine director Bobby A. Suarez, this one also has Marrie Lee as Cleopatra Wong.
I even think it's the first film where Cleopatra Wong appears in,the others being The Return of the Bionic Boy (1979) and Cleopatra Wong (1981) (both also directed by Suarez).

Btw these arrived yesterday and the package (containing 3 dvd's) was marked $15.

"I got JULIE DARLING, PEOPLE WHO OWN THE DARK, SINNER'S BLOOD, HEATED VENGEANCE. It'll be up as soon as the website is back working." (Bill/CR)

Also there's some other exciting news:

"The Godfather of the Bava collection, Alfredo Leone, says, "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse." Mr. Leone has just licensed to CODE RED DVD a few of his films: the violent Spaghetti western VENGEANCE with Richard Harrison; a loveable Ernest Borgnine goes gaga for sexy "The Story of O" star Corinne Clery in LOVE BY APPOINTMENT; Bo Svenson and Donald Pleasence battle Amazon girls in GOLD OF THE AMAZON WOMEN; and for the first time on home video, FACE WITH TWO LEFT FEET (with a John Travolta clone and Ilona Staller in a zany disco comedy!) Mr. Leone is looking forward to the sales and hopefully this will be the start of a great business opportunity for the both of us! More Leone to be on dvd for 2013!"

Bill wrote this about the Julie Darling repress:
"anyone doesn't have it, better get it now. I am not going to repress this. sales are slow on it, so this is going to be a long journey."

So I guess this will be the last CR repress ever of Julie Darling, also expecting this for The Witchmaker...

For gods sake buy it folks! It's a great movie and worth picking up. When it sells out you'll end up having to buy it from me for £200!!!
