Yeah.Agree.
Good thing is though, these are more likely reversible.
Old Bill is doing a German move by having a cover A and a cover B.

I can't remember the specific film but one of the German hardbox collectors sets had a stand so you could store all the variant covers of the same release you had bought. I had a little online row with someone about this a while back. Sure your not obliged to buy all of them but the mindset of the collector will mean that plenty of collectors out there will buy them all. Arrow get a lot of static for the expensive collectors releases they put out but at least they're only asking you to buy them once. I remember back in the 90's with the comic book speculators bubble when most comic companies put out titles with multiple covers to appeal to speculators wanting to buy something they could then sell on for a spectacular mark up a few years down the line and people like me with the completist mentality.

I dunno, I quite like them! Personally I think both look better than that crappy hand coming out of the ground and that orange abomination of the steelbook. Meh, different strokes an' all that!

"Without question, the only possible rating that could be given this one of a kind horror film is a resounding "A". Current fans that are accustomed to all the CGI special effects may not appreciate the skills that are invoked with bringing this film to the screen properly. Imagine what it was like to be a film goer in 1979 and to see this unforgettable film on the big screen. Your mind would truly be blown once and for all! In short, forget all previous copies of this film, the Blue Underground Limited Edition Blu-ray is the only one that is worth owning. I am going to toss my old DVD copy in the trash!"

"You can call me a sick fan because of my loyalty to this film, but this is the truest performance of a mentally deranged killer and Spinell’s performance is pure horror gold!"
