Default Dead

It's a brilliant film, but £59 is a bit much (anyone seen it for less)... hopefully they'll do a standard 4k version like Evil Dead etc....

Not sure how can justify that price just for a film, tempted to buy on blu ray for around £15.

Yeah, if you are just after the Blu Ray you can pick up the normal Blue Underground release, minus a few extras for £15. It looks a nice package but £60!

As soon as it's added to WowHD it'll be around £30+VAT which is what the other BU 4k's are so if you want it you'll be able to get it at a much more reasonable price.

Pleased about Two Evil Eyes getting a 4K UHD. The prior BU bd was region locked and I don't have a multi-region blu-ray player but I do have a 4K UHD player.

Stendhal next please (I'm assuming that BU no longer have Inferno rights). I love upgrading Argento films whenever possible. I've bought the following Argento 4K UHDs:

Bird With Crystal Plumage (pre-ordered)
Suspiria (the Synapse restoration)
Two Evil Eyes (pre-ordered)
Argento cut of Dawn of the Dead (Second Sight)
Demons
Demons 2

I would love to own more 2160p Dario Argento. Ideally Deep Red or Inferno would be next.

Glad someone else rates Stendahl.
I honestly think it's the last film he made that is as interesting as his classic stuff, it doesn't all work but it definitely is based upon an interesting and original premise.
Whereas Sleepless is good but is basically just a generic giallo Argento style.

I must admit I'm not a massive fan of Stendahl. I found it an ok movie. I think the problem is that I couldn't get involved with it. It left me feeling a bit detached and not that caring about the main character despite what she's put through. Perhaps I was just tired when I watched it... Maybe I need to give it another try...?

I do highly rate Stendhal but the actual reason I asked for that next, was because it's another very recent BU blu-ray release that they currently own the rights on. I suspect asking for Inferno on 4K UHD would be a bit of a pipe dream since their bd of that was released ages ago (would love to be proven wrong though).
