Another two classic Hammer's arrived today from Germany!

BTW,does anyone else have the problem of a reddish/green tinge at the edge of the frame on the region 2 Dracula Has Risen From The Grave?
Especially any scene of Lee outside his castle or in the pub cellar...

Had a Hammer triple bill today;

Started with
CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF
and then went on to
THE EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN
and
TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA

Those German Hammer discs sure look good jacked up in a Blu Ray player.

I watched "The Damned" last night with Oliver Reed. One I hadnt seen before, really good. A really clever film with alot of subtext.

The Damned is great!!
Started recently to discover some non-Horror Hammer, just ordered Camp On Blood Island. I think I read somewhere that there was supposed to come out a new R1 Icons set including this one, but since this title can already be found for a nice price, went ahead with the R2 release.

I'm pretty sure it's not a glitch on the Warner Dracula Has Risen DVD, I read somewhere that Freddie Francis filmed the movie using colour filters to create that effect.It's on my DVD too.

On another note both Amazon and Play are currently selling The Gorgon for £3.99 (I get 5% off student discount) so made a punt last week and it came through today. I've only read good things about it so look forward to watching this weekend.
