I've been a Hammer fan for years, and own all available Hammer productions on DVD/BD (except for the Lyons double feature), but I haven't actually watched them all as I bought them (I've mainly watched the horror and sci-fi ones), so I thought I'd start doing something about that! Therefore, I have been watching the movies I have in chronological order for these last few months, and I am pleased to say that I have finally got to the point where the next movie out will be "The Quatermass Xperiment" The plan is to watch them all in chronological order, including the ones I've watched before.

The ones I have watched are:

1. Phantom Ship (a.k.a. Mystery of the Marie Celeste)
2. Song of Freedom
3. Dick Barton: Special Agent
4. Dick Barton at Bay
5. Dick Barton Strikes Back
6. The Gambler and the Lady
7. Man Bait (a.k.a. The Last Page)
8. Scotland Yard Inspector (a.k.a. Lady in the Fog)
9. Stolen Face
10. Wings of Danger (a.k.a. Dead on Course)
11. Bad Blonde (a.k.a. The Flanagan Boy)
12. The Black Glove (a.k.a. Face the Music)
13. Four Sided Triangle
14. Spaceways
15. Terror Street (a.k.a. 36 Hours)
16. Blackout (a.k.a. Murder by Proxy)
17. Deadly Game (a.k.a. Third Party Risk)
18. Heat Wave (a.k.a. The House Across the Lake)
19. Mask of Dust
20. Men of Sherwood Forest
21. Paid to Kill (a.k.a. Five Days)
22. The Unholy Four (a.k.a. The Stranger Came Home)
23. The Glass Tomb (a.k.a. The Glass Cage)

The Beast Must Die is my fave HH movie followed obviously by Dracula, i was distgusted though that one of HH first movies now its back and running was a remake...Let Me In was watchable but no where near as good as the original Let The Right One In.

Lets hope HH do a new Hammer House of Horror series too, i have the originals and still watch em a lot (two faces of evil bein my fave)

The Beast must Die was made by Amicus, not Hammer.

I watched 'The Gorgon' for the first time in probably over 25 years. From what I remembered it was okay but I have to admit I got a bit bored this time around. It just ended up too much of a melodrama with a bit of Hammer gothic edge and not even Cushing and Lee could save it. Nice transfer though on the R1 set.

Its not the most exciting film, totally agree, not likely to make anyone's top ten Hammer films.

Now why can't someone release this classic with this artwork?

One of the best Hammer posters ever!

The ABUS and Warner R2 covers are ridiculous!

Sorry to say i don't rate that one much, its the vampire face i am not impressed with, however it is as you say better than its dvd release covers.

I prefer these two.
