demdike, do you have the DD discs to compare these to? Hope once you get them you can give us some details, ie extras, booklets, etc. I'm still curious what people thought was inferior about the DD releases (some kind of authoring complaint, but I didn't have issues with the ones I have).

I don't have these films on DD but i do have the Quatermass ones.

Lots of good Brit horror coming along on the horror channel, as you say.

Also, complete Hammer House of Horror starts on 1st Oct, Fright! on 16/09, It! on 30/09 plus Blood Beast Terror on 13/09 and Scars of Dracula on 01/10 too, I think.

I have the old DD release.A great film though which is actually creepy in parts.

I agree Mark,I regularly revisit X THE UNKNOWN.

I have the DD Double feature with THE ABOMBINABLE SNOWMAN.

Those DD Packages were superb!

Except Captain Kronos and the cut Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell, which i sold, and is the reason for me ordering Kronos again.
