It's not particularly ugly, but one of these would have looked much better: My favourite is the third one! Greetings! |

Two Dvd world premiers from Optimum next week. THE SCARLET BLADE: Starring Lionel Jeffries, Oliver Reed and Jack Hedley THE SCARLET BLADE is a historical adventure set during the English Civil War from the famous Hammer Film Productions. An unlikely romance blossoms between two people from opposing camps – one from the Roundheads, the other from the Cavaliers. Colonel Judd (LIONEL JEFFRIES: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), a villainous anti-royalist loyal to Cromwell, is bewildered by his daughter Clare’s (JUNE THORBURN: Tom Thumb) Royalist sympathies. Judd’s right-hand man Captain Sylvester (OLIVER REED: The Three Musketeers) is an enforcer for Cromwell’s parliamentarians and also June’s boyfriend. Much to the consternation of Judd and Sylvester, Clare falls for Edward Beverley aka The Scarlet Blade (JACK HEDLEY: For Your Eyes Only) a dashing Robin Hood figure leading the Royalist rebels. Just a quick question, does anyone own either of these two Dutch Hammer DVD boxsets and could tell me what the quality is like and if there are any other special features on the discs apart from the episodes of World of Hammer? I'm considering getting them both as they're quite cheap online and seem to be good value. Thanks!
