Yeah pretty much.

In all honesty unless you really want it, it really isn't worth paying a lot for. The film isn't really that good and it's certainly not a Dracula film. I don't think Christopher Lee has more than five minutes total screen time. I know this as i watched it again last night.

It'll come out on blu eventually.

The problem was it set itself in modern day times,The only bit I do like is the scene where they are in the cellar filmed in slow motion.

I agree. Here is what I said about the film in 2013. I don't think I'll ever change my mind, as I don't think I'll ever rewatch it. Time is too precious to waste it on poor films.

I don't think it's crap... it's just not a Dracula film!

More like a Pertwee Who or later Avengers episode with added nudity.

I don't think this was the main problem. Dracula A.D. '72 is set in modern-day London and yet a pretty acceptable film.

I think it's more like a cross between Dracula and The Sweeney. I love it!

Been on a Hammer bender recently......

The Horror of Frankenstein-Not nearly as bad as I remember!
Ralph Bates is always entertaining.

To The Devil A Daughter-Apart from the cheapskate ending, this is a great Hammer effort and just a pity they didn't survive to see what other 'modern' horrors came next.
Peter Cushing would have been a better choice than Widmark though.

Demons of the Mind-A bit slow to pick up at the start, but well worth sticking around for the still shocking climax!

All titles btw, look and sound amazing!

Dennis Wheatley hated their adaption of his novel,So much so he never allowed them to film anymore of his novels.
