If it’s got “Dracula” in the title, this is very unlikely.

Why? The Lionsgate release isn't out of print.

Michael can you clear up some confusion regarding Network's recent deal with Hammer?

It sounded pretty definitive that they had got their hands on every Hammer film and would be looking to 'remaster the entire catalogue' but surely that's not the case is it? Hammer films are scattered about several companies from Warners to Columbia and so on.

Network has every Hammer film owned by Hammer, which some journalists have unhelpfully misinterpreted as “every Hammer film”.

But a huge number of Hammer titles are permanently owned by someone else (Columbia, Universal, Warner, StudioCanal) as a by-product of funding/distribution agreements at the time of production - and as far as I’m aware there’s no change to that arrangement.

Thank you.

Is there any list as to which films are owned by Hammer?

That German release of Dracula is a couple of seconds longer than the UK Blu Ray during the disintegration at the end.

Ah, my bad, for some reason I thought I was looking at Brides of Dracula.

Disappointing to hear that if 'Dracula' is in the title it's a 'no go' for Indicator because (due to the last boxset) I thought you guys were in prime position for the rest of the Universal owned Hammers?

The UK release seems pretty comprehensive extras wise. Was it mainly for the different artwork?
I own various vesions of Hammer's finest hour Dem.
According to Blu Rage that German version contains footage no other disc contains?

Anyway I often collect multiple versions of Hammer classics, mainly due to the artwork.

One of these days I'll dig my Hammer BD collection out and take a pic....when I can be arsed!

I'll be watching it soon,so I'll let you know if I spy any differences or the ragers are talking gash....

Here are the Dracula discs I own.....

Very nice, Reaper. I love the artwork to the Warner Archive release. I think it's the French artwork.

One of my faves is the one with Dracula coming out of trees. It's the center art card in that set you posted. Think that's Italian.

However the classic British quad is simply class too.

A lot more effort in the artwork than the old Terror Vision vhs.....

Tbh I don't know why the Hammer titles never recieved original art covers. The Crypt collection and Horror Classics did.
