Dem asked me about some old Mill Creek releases that had different versions on them.
I think this applies to the old BCI releases.
Mill Creek re-issued lots of these but some old BCI sets have better versions (for example widescreen) of some films.
Maybe the same is true the other way round but I don't know that for certain.

Just a quick report on the Deadly Fiends Collection.

I just had a flick through them using the chapter select.

All the films are widescreen, with very good picture quality, and a decent well audible soundtracks.

As far as being uncut, well i can't be sure but the bath tub murder in The Case of the Bloody Iris is intact, and Edwige has no problems in the nudity dept in Your Vice....

I am delighted with this set. Recommended.

Ha, ha, i was thinking it was Mill Creek. We need a Pop Flix thread.

For, a lot of viewing there! Is it worth getting? Is the PQ decent?

The majority of the PQ is brilliant to watchable - there is a few where the PQ is either too bright or the audio is muffled but out of 44 i'd say 40 are brilliant to very good and its well worth getting

I've only just bought Drive-In Cult Classics volume 1.

I watched Trip With The Teacher and Pickup.

I tried to watch Best Friends but the disc has a fault.

It cuts out and won't let me watch at about a quarter of the way through.

I've only just heard of Mill Creek and this is my first purchase from them.
