Today I was disappointed to find out that both Scorpion's new Card Player and Phantom releases are region A locked. I still don't have a multi region bd player and a few months back, I chose to invest my spare cash in a 4K UHD Sony player instead (pleasingly 4K UHD discs don't have region codes). Shame that Scorpion now region lock their blu-rays.

Yep same here, I was hoping they'd be region free releases too. Presumably the rights holders have stipulated the releases must be region locked, but that does also mean they are potentially shopping the new scans / masters around other labels.
