It looks likes he's put his foot in it again...

Alan Jones tweeted out that later today he is going to be recording commentaries with Kim Newman for Arrow's releases of THE BLOODSTAINED BUTTERFLY and THE RED QUEEN KILLS 7 TIMES.

It's great to know the titles are coming, but it's hardly what you'd expect from someone most consider to be a 'consummate professional'. I doubt Francesco Simeoni is best pleased.

My money is going on outlaw ganster collection, zero boys and of course Bride of re-animator. Glad I didn't relent and go for the German release on that last one. I very nearly did on several occasions.

Ah it's only a dvd, hardly a state secret.

The fact him and Newman are recording a commentary is a more enticing come and get me than a postcard in a case.

I'm Glad about Red Queen as DVDs are currently fairly expensive for what are likely to be ropey prints, and I've never seen it but i LOVE the soundtrack.

Well said. Arrow would be wise look at this from a fan's perspective and see that it whet's the appetite.

Alas, "wise" is not a word that I would associate them with after the whole Mad Foxes debacle.

I don't think Red Queen is much of a surprise as Evelyn is coming but Bloodstained Butterfly certainly is. It's not a title I'd expect to ever appear on the Arrow schedule as its never had a UK or US DVD release. I wonder what other titles Arrow has up their sleeves?

Mad Foxes debacle? That movie looks nuts, hope Arrow do release it someday
