If you don't like Donnie Darko, stay well away from S. Darko, which is a poor imitation of its more famous 'Big Brother'.

This sums me up as well in regards to Donnie Darko.

But it was a load of nonsense.

You shouldn't need a doctorate in temporal mechanics to watch a film.

If you have a spare five hours, watch the film (preferably the theatrical version), read the website I linked to earlier, then watch it again. You will hopefully enjoy and appreciate it much more.

I have considered getting this, in the hope it would help me to unravel the other film

That's what I find a bit annoying about Arrow's cynical marketing strategy .. why not just release the amaray and steelbook editions at the same time and give people the option?

Does anyone know when the next arrow sale will be? There's quite a few of there films that I would be interested in that I couldn't afford upon release.

POSSIBLY a quick 'flash' sale around Halloween. If not, it's likely to be the large sale during December
