"Birthday wishes are going out to Michael Mann today! Which of his films would you most like to see us release?"

That's a bit of a loaded question, isn't it! 99.9% of people will say 'The Keep'

I wonder if this is going to be a 'big announcement' soon!!

I just visited Arrow's Facebook page and also requested The Keep. I currently own a laserdisc rip of the film and would love to own a better (and ideally lengthier) version of this cult film. It would be a major coup for Arrow, were they to be the firm that finally managed to release Mann's genre film. Fingers crossed.

The Keep would be the preferred choice of course but I think it is Paramount owned - not a company that Arrow is known to do business with. Seems more likely to be Manhunter which was originally a DEG release and has already had numerous home video releases by various distributors.

Yeah, obviously The Keep.

Or Manhunter if they can pry it from StudioCanal's cold, dead hands (at least the Shout release exists).

I'd prefer a bells and whistles release of Last of the Mohican's.

That's probably just me though.

Nope... me too. A 4K transfer would be just the ticket also.

No its not. Brilliant film, that said I don't own the current release. Always held off waiting for the aforementioned bells and whistles job. Maybe HMVs premium collection will finally see that happen.
