I hear you. It happens everywhere on the net. A very large part of it is the medium i reckon. It's almost impossible to judge tone with the written word, which i guess is why emojis were introduced. We're all different and vive le difference (or something more French sounding) so when i'm teasing someone i prefer the winking smilie, seems a bit more playful than laughing - but i'm sure i've carelessly posted before and upset people without meaning too, maybe with a laughing smilie, and i know that it's happened to me as well.

Although, if it's any consolation, i haven't been here long, but long enough to know that Dem can start an argument in an empty room!

Of course, if your post is another piss-take and at Dem's expense, then i will have my revenge for falling for it!

I think in my 8 years of being a member here I can only think of one occasion where I was offended by something someone said, and it was that minor I can't remember who or what
But, I agree sometimes a joke doesn't come across as such on the internet

Well, i was offended as recently as last night, but that was an extreme example and swiftly dealt with! By Dem!

To be honest, there hasn't been all that many full blown arguments on here, disagreements yeah obviously, but I've always found this place to be really welcoming and friendly

Anyway, back to topic, I think today's announcements will include a surprise Argento title that the majority of us will be happy about
